PREGNANCY CAN FEEL LIKE A LOT TO HOLD
Pregnancy brings a constant stream of questions and decisions—about your body, your baby, birth, your partner, and what comes after.
The harder part is knowing what matters now, how the pieces connect, and what to actually do with what you learn.
Preparation is not about knowing everything. It is about knowing your next step.
A DIFFERENT KIND OF PREGNANCY SUPPORT
Not a single appointment. Not a weekend class. Not another library of information to work through alone.

What you build during pregnancy becomes part of the foundation for birth and postpartum.
A CONTINUOUS JOURNEY
What you nourish, understand, practice and prepare during one stage becomes part of the foundation for the next.

Awareness, nourishment, support and preparation.

Body, mind, partner and support system.

Recovery, nourishment and the first weeks.

Clarity, support and trust in yourself.
We do not wait until birth to prepare for birth—or until postpartum to prepare for postpartum.

WHY THIRTEEN WEEKS MATTERS
Pregnancy keeps changing. Your questions change with it. The Circle gives you time to learn, practice, return with new questions, involve your partner, and build the next layer instead of trying to absorb everything at once.
See the full depth—
one week at a time.
Each week has a focus, but nothing happens in isolation. What you learn, practice, discuss, and prepare becomes part of the foundation for what comes next.
Your preparation begins with you.
+Before we talk about contractions, hospitals, or birth plans, we begin by understanding the woman who is becoming a mother. You explore your own patterns, needs, strengths, rhythms, and the physical, emotional, relational, and practical foundations that will support you throughout pregnancy. This is where whole-person preparation begins—not with trying to do everything perfectly, but with learning how to observe yourself and create sustainable foundations that can evolve as pregnancy changes.
INNER SHIFT
From information overload and self-doubt → self-awareness and steadiness.
BETWEEN CIRCLES
You begin bringing the work into daily life through your Pregnancy Companion, reflection, breath, movement, sound, and connection with your baby. Use the private group chat to ask questions, share what is coming up, and receive support between Live Circles. Your partner also begins participating through conversations and practices at home.
Choose the conditions, not just the address.
+Birth does not happen in isolation. You’ll explore how your provider, model of care, hospital or birth setting, communication style, institutional policies, support people, sensory environment, and your own sense of safety can shape the way you experience birth. You’ll learn how to evaluate whether the people and system around you align with your values, needs, and desired level of participation—without assuming that any one setting guarantees a particular outcome.
INNER SHIFT
From thinking birth happens around you → recognizing how safety, environment, and support shape your experience.
BETWEEN CIRCLES
You identify the conditions that help you feel safe, respected, and able to participate in your care. Using your Birth Environment Safety & Autonomy Map and provider/facility questions, you begin evaluating your actual birth environment, discussing what matters with your partner, and bringing real questions back to your care team and the private group chat.
Stay present in the decision—even when the room feels more certain than you do.
+A recommendation is not the same as a command. This week, you’ll learn what informed consent actually requires, how urgency differs from pressure, and how fear, authority, and nervous-system responses can shape decision-making. You’ll practice bringing together clinical facts, uncertainty, your values, and embodied intuition so you can participate actively in care without feeling that your only choices are compliance or resistance.
INNER SHIFT
From hesitation and deference → informed participation, questions, and confident communication.
BETWEEN CIRCLES
You practice the Decision Pause and BRAND+ using a real pregnancy decision, rehearse how to ask for explanation, time, alternatives, or a second perspective when appropriate, and notice your own patterns under pressure. Your partner practices how to protect space for your voice without speaking over you, and the private group chat gives you a place to bring questions forward between Circles.
Know where you are, what is coming next, and why it matters.
+Pregnancy can feel like a series of appointments, tests, numbers, and recommendations that do not always connect. This week, you’ll learn to see the entire pregnancy as one developmental roadmap—linking maternal changes, fetal development, timing, screening, diagnostic testing, monitoring, and clinical milestones. You’ll also learn the difference between a screening result and a diagnosis, why timing windows matter, and how to interpret new information as part of the larger picture rather than as an isolated verdict.
INNER SHIFT
From uncertainty about what lies ahead → orientation, perspective, and a clearer sense of the journey.
BETWEEN CIRCLES
You begin building your own pregnancy roadmap with the dates, milestones, questions, and next steps that actually apply to you. You prepare for upcoming appointments with more clarity, track what requires follow-up, discuss relevant decisions with your partner, and use the private group chat to bring forward questions as new information arises.
What nourishes you is helping build your baby.
+Pregnancy nutrition is about more than collecting lists of foods to eat or avoid. This week, you’ll explore nourishment through both modern nutrition and Ayurveda—understanding how digestion, food quality, protein, hydration, key nutrients, cravings, blood-sugar balance, and your changing needs influence maternal reserves and fetal growth. The goal is not perfection or restriction, but learning how to nourish yourself consistently in ways that are practical, satisfying, and responsive to your body.
INNER SHIFT
From following generic advice → understanding how everyday nourishment becomes part of your preparation.
BETWEEN CIRCLES
You begin observing how meals actually affect your energy, digestion, hunger, mood, and sense of nourishment. Using your Pregnancy Companion, you experiment with practical meal rhythms and supportive food choices, involve your partner in making nourishment easier at home, and bring questions, challenges, or discoveries into the private group chat as you find what works for you.
Understand what your body is designed to do.
+Labor is not simply a sequence of contractions—it is a coordinated physiological process involving hormones, the nervous system, the uterus, the pelvis, the baby, and the environment around you. This week, you’ll learn how labor begins and progresses, what supports the hormonal physiology of birth, and how safety, fear, movement, rest, positioning, and support can influence the process. Understanding the physiology gives you a foundation for working with labor rather than approaching it only as something to endure.
INNER SHIFT
From fear of what labor may do to you → understanding the physiology and intelligence of the laboring body.
BETWEEN CIRCLES
You begin noticing what helps your own body soften, settle, and feel safe while practicing breath, relaxation, movement, and positions that can later support labor. Your partner begins learning how to recognize and protect those conditions with you, while the private group chat gives you space to ask questions and deepen what you are discovering between Circles.
Create space, build mobility, and prepare without forcing.
+Birth preparation is not about doing every exercise you find online or trying to force your baby into the “perfect” position. This week, you’ll learn how fetal positioning, the changing pelvis, pelvic-floor coordination, hydration, movement, rest, and daily rhythm can influence comfort and create supportive conditions for birth. You’ll practice pregnancy-safe movement, birth-ball work, pelvic mobility, breath, pelvic-floor release, positioning, and appropriate tissue preparation—with an understanding of why, when, and how these practices are used.
INNER SHIFT
From waiting for labor to begin → actively building familiarity, mobility, breath, and body trust.
BETWEEN CIRCLES
You begin creating a realistic body-preparation rhythm at home, repeating the movements, positions, breathwork, and pelvic practices that are appropriate for your stage of pregnancy. Rather than adding another overwhelming checklist, you discover what feels supportive in your own body, practice with your partner where appropriate, and use the private group chat for questions, modifications, and guidance as your body continues to change.
Labor has a pattern—but it does not have a stopwatch.
+Labor rarely unfolds as a perfectly straight line. This week, you’ll walk through the journey from early labor through active labor, transition, pushing, placental birth, and the immediate post-birth period while learning what progress can actually look like. You’ll explore why labor may intensify, slow, pause, reorganize, and resume; what may change when you arrive at the hospital; and how your body, baby, hormones, nervous system, and environment continue responding to one another throughout the process.
INNER SHIFT
From seeing labor as one overwhelming event → understanding its stages, rhythms, and changing needs.
BETWEEN CIRCLES
You begin practicing how to adapt rather than trying to control every stage of labor. Through breath, grounding, movement, sensory regulation, and partner practice, you explore what helps you stay connected when intensity or circumstances change. Together, you begin discussing when to rest, when to move, when to seek support, and how your partner can help protect your sense of safety—while the private group chat gives you a place to work through questions and scenarios between Circles.
Build your toolbox before you need it.
+There is no single “right” way to cope with labor, and there is no prize for doing it without support. This week, you’ll explore how breath, movement, positioning, touch, counterpressure, hydrotherapy, heat and cold, TENS, sound, visualization, and sensory support can be layered and adapted as labor changes. You’ll also understand medical pain-relief options so that choices such as nitrous oxide, systemic medication, or epidural do not first become conversations when you are exhausted or overwhelmed.
INNER SHIFT
From wondering whether you will cope → developing practical ways to respond, adapt, and work with intensity.
BETWEEN CIRCLES
This is where preparation becomes increasingly hands-on. You and your partner practice positions, breathing patterns, movement, counterpressure, double hip squeeze, touch, and other comfort techniques until the tools begin to feel familiar rather than theoretical. Together, you start building your flexible Labor Comfort Plan, identifying what you want to try first and what alternatives remain available as your needs change. The private group chat remains available for questions and support as you practice between Circles.
Know what matters to you—and how to communicate it when circumstances change.
+A birth intention is more than a checklist of preferences. This week, you’ll identify the values underneath the birth experience you hope to create while learning how common hospital procedures, monitoring, consent, communication, and decision-making may unfold in real time. You’ll prepare for physiological birth as well as assisted or cesarean birth, so flexibility does not have to mean losing your voice. The goal is to help you communicate clearly, ask informed questions, and remain an active participant in your care even when birth takes an unexpected path. You will bring this work together by developing a comprehensive birth plan and Birth Intention that clearly communicates your preferences, priorities, values, and choices while leaving room for the realities of birth to unfold.
INNER SHIFT
From hoping others understand what matters to you → communicating your priorities clearly and participating in decisions.
BETWEEN CIRCLES
You begin turning your values into a practical Birth Intention, refining your preferences and preparing questions for your care team. You and your partner rehearse communication and decision-making together, clarify how your partner can advocate without speaking over you, and organize the tools you may need during birth. As real questions or provider conversations arise, you can bring them into the private group chat for support between Circles.
Prepare for spontaneous labor—and know how to navigate the path if it changes.
+A due date is not an expiration date, and induction is not one single procedure. This week, you’ll understand due dates and due windows, cervical readiness and the Bishop score, why induction may be recommended, and how different methods—from membrane sweeps and cervical ripening to balloon catheters, amniotomy, and Pitocin—may be sequenced. We also explore evidence-aware and Ayurvedic approaches to birth readiness without promising that any practice can force labor to begin. The goal is not to fear intervention or avoid it at all costs, but to understand what is being recommended, why, what alternatives may exist, and how to remain involved if the path changes.
INNER SHIFT
From needing birth to follow the plan → adaptability without losing your voice, values, or sense of agency.
BETWEEN CIRCLES
You create your Birth Readiness Roadmap and begin preparing a flexible plan for induction or other unexpected changes. You and your partner rehearse the questions you may want to ask, discuss how you will conserve energy and protect rest if induction becomes part of your journey, and continue the movement, nourishment, nervous-system, and readiness practices appropriate for your stage. As recommendations or questions arise in your actual care, the private group chat gives you ongoing support between Circles.
Prepare for the final movements of birth—and the first moments with your baby.
+Birth does not end when you reach ten centimeters. This week, you’ll understand how your baby descends and rotates through the pelvis, spontaneous versus directed pushing, breath and bearing down, and how different birthing positions can support the final phase of labor—with or without an epidural. You’ll also prepare for crowning, protecting the perineum, tears and episiotomy, assisted birth, placental delivery, cord clamping, the Golden Hour, newborn transition, and what happens to your own body during those important first hours after birth.
INNER SHIFT
From thinking only about “getting through birth” → integrating body, instinct, support, choices, and the moment of meeting your baby.
BETWEEN CIRCLES
You and your partner practice pushing and birthing positions, revisit breath and positioning, and clarify what matters to you during the first moments after birth. Your partner prepares to support your positions, protect communication and connection, and help preserve your priorities as the room shifts from labor to birth and immediate recovery. Together, you add these first-hour preferences to your Birth Portfolio and use the private group chat to work through any remaining questions as birth approaches.
We do not wait until postpartum to prepare for postpartum.
+The first 42 days after birth are not an afterthought—they are a profound period of recovery, nourishment, bonding, and transition into motherhood. This week brings together what you have been building throughout the Circle as you prepare for physical recovery after vaginal or cesarean birth, feeding and newborn foundations, maternal and newborn warning signs, emotional and mental-health changes, nourishment, rest, warmth, visitors, household responsibilities, and when additional professional support may be needed. Through the Ayurvedic lens of the Sacred 42, you’ll learn how to protect this vulnerable period so recovery is supported rather than improvised after your baby arrives.
INNER SHIFT
From seeing birth as the finish line → understanding postpartum as a transition that deserves preparation, protection, and care.
BETWEEN CIRCLES
You and your partner bring everything together into your Sacred 42 Postpartum Recovery & Protection Plan—mapping nourishment, rest, household responsibilities, visitor boundaries, feeding support, professional resources, warning signs, and who will do what when you come home. You create a practical plan for the first days and weeks so that support is already organized before you need it, while the private group chat remains a place to bring questions, concerns, and preparation needs forward as birth approaches. Because postpartum preparation has been happening all along.

MEET YOUR GUIDE
I’m Viji Natarajan, an Ayurvedic doctor, educator, and childbirth educator. For nearly two decades, my work has centered on women’s health and deeply personalized, relationship-based care—helping women understand their bodies, make informed decisions, and feel supported through pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and motherhood.
My approach brings together Ayurveda, modern maternity knowledge, childbirth education, and years of walking closely beside women through these transitions. I care about what is happening physiologically—but also about the woman living the experience: how you are nourishing yourself, what questions are emerging, how your relationships and support system are changing, and what you need in order to feel prepared.
The Birth Preparation Circle grew from what I have seen make the greatest difference in private care: continuity. Being known over time. Having somewhere to bring questions as they evolve. Practicing before the moment arrives. And preparing not only for birth, but for the pregnancy and postpartum journey surrounding it.

WHY THIS IS DIFFERENT
Childbirth education is part of the Circle—but it is not the whole experience. Across 13 weeks, you receive the kind of continuity usually associated with private concierge care: expert guidance as questions evolve, a place to interpret what you are learning, practical and embodied preparation, partner involvement, Ayurveda, postpartum planning, resources you can return to, and one private Pregnancy Alignment Consultation.
The Circle brings that depth into a small, intentionally limited community—so you receive meaningful support without having to assemble your pregnancy, birth, and postpartum preparation through disconnected appointments, classes, and resources.
INVESTMENT & ENROLLMENT
Limited to 10 women so there is space for relationship, individual questions, conversation, and meaningful support throughout the 13 weeks.
Payment plans available.
Opening Circle: Tuesday · 6:30–8:00 PM PT
Remaining Tuesdays: 4:30–6:00 PM PT · 13 weeks total
After enrollment, you’ll receive a welcome email with next steps, access details, and everything you need to prepare for our first Circle.
Begin Your Application Begin with a brief fit questionnaire.QUESTIONS YOU MAY BE HOLDING
Choosing how you prepare for pregnancy, birth, and postpartum is personal. Here are answers to questions that may help you decide whether the Circle is right for you.
The Circle is designed to begin around 16–20 weeks of pregnancy. This gives us enough time to build knowledge, practices, and support progressively rather than trying to prepare for everything in the final weeks. If you are outside that window, complete the fit questionnaire and we can determine whether the upcoming Circle makes sense for you.
Life and pregnancy are not always predictable. If you need to miss a Circle, you will still have access to the accompanying materials and resources so you can stay connected to the journey. Because the live conversations and community are an important part of the experience, however, the Circle is best suited to women who expect to attend most sessions.
Your partner does not need to attend every Circle. There will be specific opportunities for partner participation, along with conversations and practices to continue together at home. The goal is for your partner to understand how to support you physically, emotionally, and practically as pregnancy progresses and birth approaches.
It includes childbirth education, but it is much more than a birth class. We begin during pregnancy and progressively prepare the body, mind, relationship, household, and support system for labor, birth, and the postpartum transition. Birth preparation is one part of a much larger continuum.
No. The Birth Preparation Circle is designed to complement—not replace—your medical, midwifery, or other professional care. You remain under the care of your chosen healthcare team for clinical evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and medical decision-making.
Wonderful. The Circle does not require you to start over or replace support you already value. We can build upon what you have learned and help you integrate it into a broader preparation process that connects pregnancy, birth, partner preparation, and postpartum.
That is precisely why our preparation is not built around achieving one particular kind of birth. We work on understanding options, asking questions, adapting to changing circumstances, communicating with your care team, and remaining connected to your priorities even when the path changes.
The Circle is designed to fit into real life. Some weeks may include a reflection, conversation with your partner, short practice, video, or practical preparation task. The intention is consistent integration, not homework or perfection.
General, non-time-intensive questions can be answered in the private Practice Better community chat between Circles. Questions requiring individualized assessment or substantial time are supported through a separate paid consultation.
Yes. Payment plan options are available so the investment can be distributed over time. The available options will be presented before you complete enrollment.
Because this is an intimate Circle of only 10 women, enrollment is not simply about filling seats. The brief questionnaire helps us make sure you understand the nature of the experience, that the timing works for your pregnancy, and that the Circle is aligned with the kind of support you are seeking.
YOUR NEXT STEP
Pregnancy gives you time to understand, practice, ask questions, involve your partner, and prepare for the transitions ahead. The Birth Preparation Circle gives you a place to do that steadily—with guidance, community, and continuity along the way.
