1. Who we are

Divine Journey LLC provides educational resources, consultations, coaching, courses and products related to Ayurveda, women’s health, pregnancy and birth, body–mind awareness and Jyotiṣa. This policy applies to information collected through this website and the services linked from it.

2. Information we collect

We may collect information you choose to provide, including your name, email address, phone number, inquiry details, appointment information and messages. If online purchasing is enabled, order, billing, delivery and transaction information may also be collected by our payment and fulfillment providers.

Basic technical information—such as browser type, device type, IP address, referring pages and site activity—may be collected automatically by our website host or related services for security, reliability and site improvement.

3. Health and sensitive information

Please do not use the general contact form for urgent concerns or include more sensitive health information than is necessary for an initial inquiry. Information needed for an established client relationship may be collected through the designated client or scheduling platform and handled according to the notices and agreements provided there.

4. How we use information

• To respond to inquiries and communicate with you.
• To schedule, provide and support requested services.
• To process purchases, payments, delivery and customer-service requests when shopping is available.
• To operate, secure and improve the website.
• To meet legal, accounting and recordkeeping obligations.

We do not sell your personal information for money. Regionally restricted Google Analytics is described below. Meta Pixel remains paused.

5. Service providers and external platforms

We may share information only as reasonably necessary with providers that help operate the website and services, including Netlify for hosting, Practice Better for scheduling and client services, and Stripe or other providers for payment and order processing when those features are enabled. Each provider processes information under its own terms and privacy practices.

Links to third-party websites take you outside Divine Journey. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any external service you use.

6. Cookies, advertising and embedded content

The website and its service providers may use cookies or similar technologies that are necessary for security, basic functionality and performance. Pages may also contain embedded content, such as video. Embedded content can behave as though you visited the provider’s website directly and may allow that provider to collect usage information under its own privacy policy.

Analytics and your advertising choices

Google Analytics loads automatically without a consent banner only when our hosting provider identifies the visit as coming from a recognized US state other than Washington or Nevada, or the District of Columbia. California is included. Visits identified as outside the US, or whose country or state cannot be determined, are excluded. IP-based location is approximate and does not establish residency. Analytics is limited to these general-information pages: Divine Journey, About Viji, Books, Cards and Art, Journey Book Series, Nakshatra Fine Art Prints, Fundamentals of Jyotisha, Privacy Policy, Terms and Conditions. Visits with query parameters or fragments are excluded, as are all other pages, including health resources, forms, consultations, checkout, purchase confirmations and downloads.

Google receives the reviewed page name and address, browser and device information, and pseudonymous browser and session identifiers. Google also uses network information to derive approximate location. This is not anonymous measurement. We do not send customer or payment identifiers, form answers, health choices, query strings, referring page addresses, purchases or advertising events. Google Analytics may process automatic visit and engagement data. Google Signals and advertising personalization are disabled.

Previously saved analytics refusals in this browser remain honored. We do not offer an analytics preference control on this website. If browser storage is unavailable or Global Privacy Control is enabled, analytics stays off. These restrictions do not delete information previously sent. Google processes data under its Privacy Policy.

Meta Pixel remains paused across the website. Your saved Meta preference is preserved separately.

When enabled, we use the Meta Pixel, a tool from Meta (Facebook and Instagram), to measure visits to our website, sign-ups for our free guides and purchases of our guides. This helps us understand which ads are useful and measure how our advertising is working.

When enabled, the Pixel uses cookies and similar technology to send Meta information about your visit, such as pages viewed, browser and device information, and actions taken on the site. For a guide purchase, we also send the amount paid and currency. Meta may connect this activity with your Meta account and use it to personalize ads and other content under its Privacy Policy.

We do not add your name, email address, payment card details, consultation notes or form answers to our Pixel events.

Your saved preference

While Meta Pixel tracking is paused, there is no need to opt out. Any saved Meta tracking preference is kept in this browser for when tracking is enabled again. You can still browse, download guides and make purchases. Your choice is saved in this browser; if you clear browser storage or use another browser or device, you will need to choose again. Opting out does not remove information already sent to Meta.

You can also manage how Meta uses activity from other businesses through the advertising settings in your Facebook or Instagram Accounts Center. Your browser’s tracking protection or a content blocker can provide additional control.

7. How long information is kept

Information is kept only as long as reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was collected, to maintain appropriate business records, to provide requested services, or to meet legal and accounting requirements. Retention periods may differ depending on the type of information and the service involved.

8. Security

Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used to protect personal information. No website, email message or online transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure, so please use care when deciding what to send electronically.

9. Your choices and rights

You may request access to, correction of or deletion of personal information held by Divine Journey, subject to applicable legal and recordkeeping requirements. You may also opt out of non-essential email communication at any time. Privacy rights vary by location.

10. Children’s privacy

This website is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children through the website.

11. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated as the website, services or legal requirements change. The effective date above will be revised when material updates are made.
