Body–mind
The Body Remembers
How lived experience continues to speak through the body.
The body is not separate from emotional experience. Stress, injury, protection and repetition can become patterns of tension and response that continue long after the original moment has passed.
Patterns take root
The body records experience through posture, breath, muscle tone, movement and sensation. What appears purely physical may carry an emotional history, just as emotional strain can have a physical expression.
Work with both body and mind
Lasting change often asks us to address the loop between physical and emotional experience rather than treating either side in isolation.
Listen before trying to fix
Body-centered practices can create enough quiet to notice what is held, what is changing and what kind of support allows more ease to emerge.
